We took an interest in cigars about 15 years ago while entertaining clients on the golf course at a previous company. While we are not good at golf, we really enjoyed the atmosphere and conversation that lead to business deals. From there we took the cigar culture serious. When we travel out of town for work and pleasure we would visit a cigar lounge in that city just to get the vibe of the city and meet different people. We have tried a lot of different cigars and one thing we learned is just because a cigar has a high price doesn't mean it's going to be a good smoke or good quality.  That's why we decided to come up with the idea to start the brand El Jefe Cigars. El Jefe brand was started in 2017. The company was birth because we wanted to have a product set at a good price point with a good quality of smoke. We went through many cigars and connections to choose the right cigar. One thing El Jefe stand on as a company is customer service and quality.
